On April 8, the YLS and other MBA volunteers joined the Friends of Trees at Tualatin Community Park to help plant trees, shrubs, and plants and celebrate Arbor Day. The MBA members, along with many other volunteers, including Mayor Lou Ogden, helped to plant a new pollinator-friendly garden on the north end of Tualatin Community Park. This planting is part of the Tree For All campaign which has planted over three million native plants in the Tualatin River Watershed in the past decade. Special thanks to MBA members Kimberly Fisher, Steven Mastanduno, Christine Kim, Kelci Paiva, and James Fisher for their time and commitment in volunteering for the event and making a difference in the community!
